ProUD (Projects for Undergraduate Development) is an interdisciplinary development program established within Istanbul Gelisim University to support undergraduate students in adopting a project development culture, strengthening their research competencies, and translating their academic knowledge into practice.
While contributing to the development of students' 21st-century skills—such as creative thinking, critical analysis, problem-solving, teamwork, and project management—the program fosters a culture of collaboration by bringing together students from diverse disciplines around shared goals. Under the umbrella of ProUD, students receive comprehensive support in discovering national and international project opportunities, generating project ideas, and transforming these ideas into sustainable projects.
Guided by expert academics, students gain hands-on experience developing innovative solutions to real-world challenges, along with opportunities to actively participate in research-, entrepreneurship-, and innovation-driven initiatives. Thus, the program aims not only to enhance their academic achievement but also to cultivate competitive individuals at both national and international levels by equipping them early on with the knowledge, skills, and experience essential for their professional careers.
