Mission

At PROUD, our mission is to support undergraduate students in preparing for the future as individuals who can develop projects with global impact, think innovatively, conduct research, question existing ideas, develop solution-oriented approaches, demonstrate leadership skills, and maintain a strong sense of social responsibility. We guide students in strengthening their academic knowledge and skills through national and international project experiences, embracing interdisciplinary collaboration, and transforming their ideas into sustainable projects that create social value.

To this end, we aim to unlock students’ potential by providing training, consultancy, and mentorship in project development, project writing, access to funding opportunities, entrepreneurship, innovation, and international programmes. By raising awareness of Erasmus+, European Union, TÜBİTAK, and other national and international funding programmes, we encourage students to actively participate in the project ecosystem. Our goal is to help them become not only academically successful but also socially impactful, solution-oriented individuals capable of competing on a global scale.

Vision

PROUD’s vision is to become a leading student development centre that makes project culture an integral part of university life, encourages students to actively participate in national and international funding programmes, and supports the transformation of innovative ideas into scientific, technological, and social value. We aim to establish a sustainable project ecosystem that enables students to become not merely consumers of knowledge, but individuals who generate knowledge, conduct research, develop ideas, and think critically to find solutions.

We strive to equip young people with the skills and competencies needed to compete globally by strengthening international collaborations, bringing students from different disciplines together around common goals, and promoting a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation. We aim to serve as a source of inspiration for students throughout their project development journeys, supporting them from the initial idea stage through implementation and dissemination. Our goal is to become a pioneering centre recognised for its adherence to international standards and exemplary practices among higher education institutions.

In doing so, we aspire to lead the development of an innovative and sustainable project culture that places social benefit at its core and contributes to the growth of future scientists, entrepreneurs, researchers, and leaders.
