The “2209-B University Students Industry-Oriented Research Projects Support Programme Information Seminar” was jointly organised online by the Career Planning and Alumni Commission and our Scientific Research Projects (BAP) Coordination Office on Wednesday, 8 April 2026, with the participation of 27 academic staff members, 10 external stakeholders, and students.

The seminar provided comprehensive information on the TÜBİTAK 2209-B programme. Its objectives and available support were discussed in detail, and participants were informed about key application considerations, evaluation criteria, and the stages of project preparation.

Opportunities to strengthen university–industry cooperation were also highlighted, and recommendations were offered to encourage greater student participation in collaborative project development with industry. The seminar concluded with a question-and-answer session.

We would like to thank our Coordinator, Asst. Prof. Serap Yeşilkır Baydar, for her contributions to the seminar, and Asst. Prof. Birol Baysak for his support in organising the event.
