At our university, information seminars were held on Tuesday, May 27, and Wednesday, May 28, regarding the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program. Held at the Student Center, the seminars were offered to students with sessions in both Turkish and English.
Assistant Professor Dr. Sibel ZENGİN, who conducted the seminar, provided students with comprehensive information about the purpose of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A program, the application process, project writing stages, and evaluation criteria. Participants had the opportunity to closely learn about the research opportunities offered to students by the program.
Serving as a guide particularly for students who had project ideas but did not know how to start, the seminar allowed students to ask their questions directly to the professor and receive detailed information on the topics they were curious about. Taking place in an interactive environment with the active participation of students, the sessions contributed to spreading the project culture and supporting young researchers.
At the end of the seminar, many students considering applying for projects stated that they could take their first steps more confidently with the information they gained.
